Anna Krause – children group instructor

Anna Krause

She has been bonded with Polish dance since 1989 – initially, in the years 1989-1996, as a dancer in the Song and Dance Ensemble “Mały Bałtyk”, then in the Song and Dance Ensemble “Bałtyk” in Koszalin till 2001.

In the years 2002-2010 she was a dancer in the Song and Dance Ensemble “Jantar”.

In 2005 as a member of “Jantar” she was given the Medal of University of Gdańsk and the congratulatory letter by His Magnificence Rector of University of Gdańsk, Professor Andrzej Ceynowa to distinguish her outstanding achievements on the field of students’ culture development and cultivating folk dances traditions. The occasion for this distinction were 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Song and Dance Ensemble “Jantar”, as well as winning with the Ensemble 2nd prize on the International Choir Music and Folklore Festival “Harmonie Festival 2005” in Lindenholzhausen, Germany.

In 2006 Anna Krause defended her master of arts degree on the Faculty of Choral Conducting, Musical Education, Eurhythmics, Jazz and Church Music, where now she is a lecturer of folk dances classes for eurhythmics students.

She got the dance instructor diploma in 2006 after finishing Qualification Course for Instructors, with specialization Folk Dance, which was organized by the National Culture Center and the Mazovia Arts and Culture Center in Warsaw.

Anna is also a passionate dance instructor for older children group of the Song and Dance Ensemble “Jantar”.
